Agency Introduction

ASCENT: Infers to our agency’s ethos, of always bringing our “A” game to the work we do.

Ascent’s logo is representative of our agency’s ethos - to provide the best service for our clients, and help propel their brand forwards and upwards. The logo is in the shape of an abstract “A” to denote our agency’s name, but more than that, it is also a metaphor of the “ascent” itself. The waves at the bottom of the A represents the formation of ideas, of how our agency is fluid and willing to explore new frontiers in order to bring out our “A” game so to speak.


Our logo is further segmented through the use of colours - red, blue and black. The red block stands for passion, energy and determination: all qualities that our team is striving for within our practice. Meanwhile, the blue symbolizes depth and stability: to provide rationality and meaning behind our crazy ideas, to make the impossible possible for our clients.


All together, our logo has another subtle imagery within it - that of a pencil. It is a signifier of our creative spirits and to always stay true to our design sensibilities. For the agency’s name, we chose to represent it using Baron Neue as it matches our logo best with its more solid and weightier strokes. 


Aside from that, there are also black and white versions of our logo. For those versions, we omitted the greyscale colouring and chose to only use black and white for contrast, which works better for solid forms on the off-chance that our logo needs to be presented on a coloured or busy background.
